It is time for change - time to express Cypriotness

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

They never did come to Cyprus and that's why your fairytale never gets off the ground... :(

The Mycenaeans were overrun and destroyed by the Dorians.

Feel free to prove your claim.

...sorry joe, you must be thick, or as i said, a person who does not know cyprus, and who thinks they way it is, is as it should be.

...you haven't an idea what i'm talking about, go to your history books and your maps if you have to, we were not "Greeks" and "Turks", we were attached to our land, we were highly socialised, and we were great cooperators, these are the Cypriots i lived with in my village. 350 years of being a backwater ended, along with mobility and the end to the isolation which kept us focused as village dwellers on sustaining ourselves. new possibilities, and new labels were applied to our distinctions, i remember very well.

joe, i am on this Forum for a Cyprus where I can be proud to have my sense of belonging. i understand as a Human Being that there are necessities where not one of us should be denied. and i understand, being Cypriot that there is a lot of pride in this respect that i saw demonstrated as a young person, amongst Greeks and Turks. indeed, i still see it in the RoC which maintains a Rule of Law that is held in high esteem by its global partners, but we are neither promoting our diversity, nor are we doing what we can to defend the distinctiveness of our societies, firstly so that they can sustain themselves, so that they are not or do not become mono-clonal, but that there is a wealth of diversity within each culture, nor are Cypriots prepared for the assimilation of the English language, whatever personality they take.

...frankly, i feel i understand Bicommunal and Bizonal, it most certainly does not mean tearing the island in two.

...have you read my manifesto thingy?

What are you rambling on about-the same ole same ole? Let us see, your manifesto. I have heard of it, yes, as I believe others on this forum have as well. But it appears that it is you that is too thick and you just don't get it. Nobody on this island cares. Just ask around the next time you come on ur vaca. Your delusional, the quicker you realize it, the quicker you can get help. By the way, Isn't there another dead forum that needs updating? While ur there, kindly take your British brigade compadres with you so that you all can sniff each others buttocks all you like at that other site. :-)

Think about it for a sec. In that forum, nobody is going to question the ideas you guys come up with like giving our natural resources to Turkministan. Brilliant! Or how about changing our alphabet to a neolithic one that was depicted in a cave some where in that mixed village of yours. I'm surprised you guys haven't thought about that one yet. Yes, no need to thank me.

Before you reply with your usual drivel - just take some time to consider my suggestion, that's all I'm saying.

Now you and your compadres make sure you enjoy the weekend, I know i will you crazy bitzes.
