Given that Cyprus has to partner up with either Greece or Turkey to see Cypriot oil/gas supplies flow into Europe due to these two country’s geographic locations, then it’s common sense to weigh the options of choosing one country over the other!

The decision to choose Turkey is very easy to make because Turkey has something that Cyprus wants but Greece does not!

Furthermore, Greece is located too far making such a venture extremely expensive with massive long term underwater maintenance costs.

Finally, Greece may not even be in a position to cover her costs in such a venture due to her recent enormous financial commitments.

The choice couldn’t be simpler for me…

It has nothing to do with imperialism and who I support, which isn't Britain but IS Cyprus and Cyprus alone.

It is a question of legalities or what is a legally binding treaty as things stand today!

My interest in Cyprus is because I am a native to the island and my ancestors have been native to Cyprus for well over 10,000 years! I am not interested in Cyprus for any of its wealth. May it become the wealthiest nation on earth, but more importantly, may the division end for the sake of all future generations.

Why don't you follow the advice you give to us and accept that you are Australian and only Australian and forget the Cypriot part? I mean you are already a foreigner ... why pretend to be Cypriot?

The Greeks are native to Cyprus and the only ones who have resisted foreign invaders for thousands of years.
