I think Turkey is only interested in these and she thinks she can get them without having to give anything back. It's an illness called,
"self delusional"!And btw, GR, if Turkey did what you asked for, what will happen once the Gas & Oil runs out in the future?
Lets say that your offer is accepted in full, I still think a secondary pipes should be laid to Greece from Cyprus, just to keep Turkey honest to honour her agreements. Why do you think Russia is building a second pipeline to Europe through Turkey's EEZ in the Black sea when they already have a pipeline going through Ukraine? Well, it's to keep Ukraine honest to honour her agreements with Russia, that's all.
Advantages for Turkey:
1. Major EU accession hurdle (The Cyprus problem) eliminated and a new push for the opening and evaluation of all blocked accession chapters.
2. Free oil/gas for Turkey’s domestic needs for the next 50 years.
3. Commission and/or royalty from the transport of oil/gas into Europe.
