Police Abuse of Power

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Police Abuse of Power

Postby cippalippa » Mon Jan 23, 2012 5:40 am

Just been witness of police abouse of power.
non uniform guy, then, showed as a policeman, and his "friends" had stopped 2 guys in their car.
Perquisition, and they found out they had drug with them.
It was a planned action of course.
The policeman has started to punch and kick one of these guys, without any reason.
the guy was calm and respectful of this policeman, but the policeman was too proud of himself.
Well, i have filmed everything, and just reported to the local newspaper and to the police station.
Let's see what it will be...
In a civilized country, this policeman, from tomorrow, if he wants to earn money, he will have to find a new job...

I hope you contacted the correct newspaper, Politis.

I understand from the 3 posts you have made on here so far that you don't like Cyprus or Cypriots, so what are you doing here?

If they had drugs on them they should be shot on the spot no questions asked!

That’s the ZERO TELERANCE policy the whole world needs to adopt if they’re serious about eliminating drugs.

Had it only affected their bodies like those people getting a tattoo, nobody would care about it but that is NOT the case and I’m surprised at your ignorance!

Cigarette smoking doesn’t make people commit aggravated robberies, prostitution, extortion, loan sharking, and a dozen other anti social behaviors!

Stop exaggerating.... We're talking about smoking a bit of pot .... not the flipping situation in the Occupied Areas.

Since you say it was a planned action to get these drug-carrying guys, it suggests they are drug pushers.

100% agree with GR! on zero tolerance to such people. They are lucky I wasn't there. Have seen what such people have done in the UK and I don't want it escalating in Cyprus.

Give Police more power to destroy these gangs!

Yes have to agree with GR! as well. Zero tolerance and we can do with a few zero tolerance Aussie style detention centers for nuisance Hellenic and Ottoman Remnants who only kill and destroy our beloved poor country! :)

Have seen what such people have done to Cyprus.
