Wonder which Islamic ritual left the poor victim/guinea-pig so limbless in the first place.

Sad, but true.

You haven't fallen victim to the huge PR expenditure of Turkey which seems to be reeling in the less wholesome Aussie elements? :D

When has Greece ever been so advance? 2,500 years ago when they made the world fastest chariot?

Laser eye surgery first performed in Greece. First successful use of artificial hearts and stem cells pioneered in Greece.

What have the Aussies invented other than the sheep dip?

I take that back. According to Wikipedia...

The world's first sheep dip was invented and produced by George Wilson of Coldstream, Scotland in 1830.

Many things! You not seriously going to compare Greece with Australia in Medical Science and technology?

Everything from Ballistic Missiles, Satellites, scamjets, over the horizon radar, night vision, Flight Data Recorders known as black box, pacemakers and the list goes on and on.

That would be a laugh!
