Two held for robbery

Nicosia - Two men -- a Greek Cypriot and a Turkish Cypriot have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a coffee shop in Tseri, on the outskirts of Nicosia on Sunday night.
The 67 year old owner who was alone in the shop at the time said two men entered the coffee shop at around 9pm and attacked her with a knife, took €3,000 and fled.
Neighbours contacted the Police and called an ambulance.
Police said the woman recognised the assailants and gave their names to the police. They were later arrested.

That place is a short walking distance from my house and that night I drove past to go buy cigarettes when I saw the flashing police cars parked outside but I thought they must’ve caught customers gambling or something, but on the way back I noticed the yellow ribbon around the property so I knew there was more to this and pulled over.

One of the cops said burglary but didn’t mention anything about stabbing…

I know the old lady… weird and grumpy but didn’t deserve this shit!

Then came Oil Prospectors Ltd which continued to explore from 1949 to 1957 and had reached a depth of 1,799 metres south of Moni and 1,250 metres near Tseri. In 1957, this company handed over its exploration activities to Forest Oil Corporation that explored in two fields up until 1970 and had reached a depth of 2,586 and 3,295 metres, respectively, near Archangelos, near the Apoel training field and near Lefkoniko.
