Want to learn Greek? (Nicosia)

Do you live in Nicosia and want to learn Greek? Very low rates. I am British born and can teach you conversational skills, enough to get you by. Low rates. If interested leave me a reply.

Conversational skills on Cyprus are in Cypriot not Greek. Teach them Cypriot if they are to successfully blend in...

Cypriot is a Greek dialect and it is better taught by native speakers.

I can vouch for that!

Not being a good Cypriot speaker, I come to all kinds of grief fitting into Cypriot society, but thankfully, my patriots make some allowances but it still makes me feel bad.

I should have picked up my native tongue and would have done so if I spent more time in Cyprus to learn Cypriot!

Hmm I can teach the Cypriot dialect but I didn't think that would sound too professional, lol! Thanks for the pointer though...

Be proud of your language because when Cypriots were masters of the Mediterranean and linguist extraordinaire trading with the great pharaohs of Egypt, Greeks were in caves squatting to piss!

It is quite obvious who is talking rubbish here. The language the people in Cyprus are using is a dialect of Greek and this is a fact. Any pre-historic language that was used in Cyprus and that predates Greek is a language that neither you nor anybody else today knows how to speak.

The Cypriot Language is very professional and when you speak it in Cyprus you will gain a new respect similar to when you speak French in France! :)
