I know the Cyprus problem is complicated, but it is about to get even worse.
I have realised that as a Cypriot citizen who is not ethnically Turkish or Greek, that my human rights are being violated by the UN by not including me in the negotiations process and not taking into account my right to have an equal share of power in any new constitution as demanded by another ethnic minority.
To be fair I will invite other similar legally established ethnic minorities to join me in my campaign, so I will begin by having negotiations with the Armenians, Maronites, Latins, Pontians, Peyians, Russo-Kypri, Tseri-Bulgars, and of course our one Khirokitian, GR. If there are any that I have missed out please let me know. So on this basis (unless more communities come forward) we will each have 10% of the power in the new central Government. I will also demand my turn in the rotating presidency, which will probably work out to about 1 week every 10 years.
The demand that I will never compromise on is my 10% share of our natural resources.
I am willing to return a certain amount of territory, and my initial offer is the small flowerbed to the left of my front gate. I will also accept freedom of movement, but when you come to visit the ARC bring a case of KEO with you. Work has also started on our own airport, I have painted a big H on the roof of my house for helicopters and I am researching where to put the runway for planes.
Long live the Aglangia Republic of Cyprus!
