Ερατώ Κοζάκου-Μαρκουλλή για Πρόεδρο

Postby bill cobbett » Fri Jan 13, 2012 3:02 am

A "friend" has started a campaign to promote Ms Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis as the next President of the Republic.

Please form an orderly queue to sign up to support her at.. http://www.facebook.com/Erato4President

Here is a reminder of her approach in what she had to say on the National Issue a few months ago...

As far as we are concerned Turkey has crossed the red line a long time ago. I mean, when Turkey, a candidate for membership of the European Union, refuses to acknowledge that the Union comprises 27-member states, recognizing all other members except Cyprus, yes that is a red line crossed. When Turkey, contrary to Security Council Resolutions, continues to maintain an illegal military presence on the island and to support and advance a secessionist entity in the part of Cyprus it occupies, then that is a red line. When Turkey refuses to acknowledge that Cyprus has an Exclusive Economic Zone, that is a red line.

In short, as far as we are concerned, it is not a matter of red lines. It is a matter of a clear and strong message to Turkey to get serious and seek a workable, a viable, a just resolution of the division in Cyprus, and acknowledge that the Republic of Cyprus is a sovereign state with sovereign rights, with which it must work and cooperate peacefully because we are neighbors and are destined to live next to each other.

Unfortunately Erato doesn't have a chance with the Archbishop backing LieLickAss.

So many Asses to vote for. I bet ChristofiAss feels very neglected knowing that His Beastitude is going to lead the Cypriot Nation to salvation but more like destruction.

What about good old Nick Papadopoulos? Is their a power dynasty in the making?

well perhaps as a woman she will be able to bring women together through women's organisations because we will only solve it by people coming together and working together as one.

She is not bad, But she is not the best option for Cyprus and its needs right now (keeping in mind all the down-hills CY went with Demetrakis...... lets hope there will be no more nasty surpises till february 2013, although i fear they will be.)
Right now, in my humble opinion theres no CY Personality that can handle, fix and up-lift Cyprus!
