82% vs 18% no chance no say just what you want.

What say do you think the TCs currently have in the running of the occupied areas? None. Turkey decides, pays and calls the shots including the right to dump on you if it's in their interest. So please stop trying to pretend you give a crap about the rights of the TCs to run their own affairs.

So you think that we should allow the Gcs to do the same....how many more times do we have to say that Turks are preferred to GCs, you are only palatable via a comprehensive solution to guarantee you stay in check.

If you think a numerical minority should have a 50-50 power in the form of "partnership" with the numerical majority in the government, then surely any minority in Cyprus should also have an equal power sharing with the majority regardless of their size.

...i too have proposed a form of governance which gives people the opportunity to sustain themselves as Persons. Our Individual Rights would be defended by a State, while National Assemblies can address the needs of their distinct identity by acting as responsible majorities. It does not require the segregation of the population. Rather it provides choices to the population of Cyprus in a manner where they are free to live where they want to, and to have the Freedom of Association which the impasse prevents.

vp. you ignore me, but, kindly answer the question that Kiks has asked.

furthermore, a minority almost always holds the balance of power, this is quite clear in many democracies around the world, because its extremes are tempered by the voices in the center. Gcs as you call them are no different to their counterparts the Tcs, there are in this equation Human beings who place the interests of Cyprus first.

...if we, as Cypriots, were to recognise people as Persons, wouldn't it be better to recognise many of the minorities in Cyprus, rather than dividing them purely on the basis that they must identify themselves as "Greeks" and "Turks"?

Those other minorities unlike us sold themselves out to the GCs we fought back and stopped Cyprus becoming Greece.
