I'm not the one trying to skip out on paying a speeding fine while visiting an illegally occupied part of a country. I have a very good life in which i don't need to stoop to such levels. I suggest you get some ethics!

Anyone had a similar issue? How can i make them prove that i indeed was speeding? Are they short on budget and it is a new trick to milk the unaware cow?

This is how they do it in Turkey (where you effectively are if you cross north). You don't get to see the evidence, there is no right to appeal or tribunal or any of the European essentials. Hire cars they don't bother with so that's one option, as is getting a friendly TC to drive you over. Good luck. :)

Good luck ........... it's difficult to get off on any fine in a normal functioning Country, let alone a rogue separatist regime.
