Ofcourse the foreigners should know that cyprus existed before 2004 and 2007 when poland first and the romania and bulgaria entered EU and they came here.It was full of hotels, restaurants, houses being built etc and everything was going great, everybody was working at that time and especially before 2000 people used to have 2 and 3 jobs. When i was a student 10 years ago i used to work every summer as a waiter and all of my colleagues were cypriots,at the restaurants 90% cypriots, the same at every job, even if for someone who comes now here this sounds unreal. And i have to say the service was way better than nowadays. What i am trying to say is that cypriots used to be hard workers but as we all see this generation became a lazy one.I hope this economic crisis will change things.
The problem is not the foreigners but our lately changed mentality and way we see life.
