They were even contemplating abandoning the SBAs back then, and also by 1964, the Americans had a policy of supporting the self determination of small colonies like Cyprus. There is no evidence to suggest that the Khoirokitians only appeared on the island 10,000 years ago. For all we know, they could've been on the island much earlier than when they built their settlement. You are clasping at straws again.

Did I hit some nerve? When you are a small minority in a much larger population you gradually assimilate. This is just a fact which is generally applied, not just for Greeks. Nobody forces you to do it, but that is what happens eventually.
