Another threat from Eroglu/Turkey to abandon the negotiations. This time, having wound down the clock with the usual maximalist demands over the past months, they intend to walk away from the negotiations in June of this year.

Report also tells us that Pres X insists on the return of "Morphou, the Karpasia area and part of Mesaoria."

No, but seriously... What Eroglu/Turkey are doing with all the intransigence, all the maximum possible demands etc and now this Re-Branding of "tncr" is right out of the Donktosh Partitionist Manual. He did exactly the same things... did he not walk away from talks and re-name "tncr" in the early '80s?

Like you said many times before. MAXIMALISM. Their maximalism is what saved US time and again. Let them be at it. PLEAEESE? It was their maximalism that saved us from Annan Plan II. (Denktash, Erdogan and Gul, bless them) in 2002, December 13. (I get a twisted pleasure reminding them of that)

Another example of how Eroglu/Turkey are so far outside the UN Parameters, so distant from the High Level Agreements with this claim in a broadcast to some of the CYs living in OZ...

Eroglu claimed: “We don’t want our future to be uncertain and to be subject to such unfair embargoes. The existence of two separate people, two separate areas, two separate religions and two separate sovereign states in Cyprus is a fact.”

if eroglu/Turkey walk out then next time there are talks, Christofias or whoever is prez of the ROC should insist on only speaking with a true Turkish Cypriot leader and not one elected by 500,000 Turkish settlers...
