BTW VP you personally cannot talk about Enoisis as you promote the idea of Taksim

No, not me dear humanist.

So, we have all agreed that enosis was a legitimate goal and consequently, Makarios with Grivas and the rest of the nationalist bigots were justified to go for it using all possible means, methods and tactics. In effect, these bigots are now justifying Turkey's invasion (or intervention, as the UN says). We have now closed this subject. Signed and sealed. Let us now see if the well-meaning people (especially down under) have the mental capacity to understand this and comprehend the real reasons we have reached rock bottom.

why in 1973 did the Eoka b and/or the Greek Junta want to remove big Mak and try to kill him in 1974 if he was not a barrier to their plans for Enosis?

Indeed and not to forget the huge popular support for Big Mak and over-whelming condemnation of eokaB at the time... but you try telling that to the supporters of the Illegal Regime like VP and they'll call you a hypocrite...

Name these coupist, eokab and greek junta supporters.......its a well known fact that prior to 74 being a eoka b member or supporter was illegal in cyprus.

You missed out some words from the question - " the aims of" - one may support the aims of an organisation - in this case the destruction of cyprus as an Indepedent Sovereign nation state, ( as recognised in treaty by eg Greece, who guaranteed the independance of Cyprus), and its absorbtion by a foreign power - Greece - without supporting the methods of or the organisation itself.

Bananoit, you are old enough to know that Makarios and Grivas started the enosis movement in 1955, why are you so surprised? Show me anything that Makarios did that proved that his policies as President of Cyprus, were tactics for enosis.
