do u think it really matters if taiwan is not recognized?

just look around u and see how many products write on them :

yeah i do, but it is under the authority of the fascist china.

But still...Taiwan had an argument, it is self proclaimed and when democracy will return in china it will also return to china.

i meant for the people of taiwan

and who knows what the future will bring. it could be that it doesnt return to chine. who knows?

just like us , i am afraid, nothing is more permanent that what we consider temporal.

Actually the best case scenario is not in my post either. The best would be if all the Cypriots would agree (not because they are forced to agree but because they understand that it is for the best) to live in one united democratic Cyprus as equal citizens with a European constitution were human and minority rights are 100% protected. However thats a scenario it will never be entirely up to us no matter what the balance of power will be. Thats why I left it out.

The worst case scenario (for me) is to fall in the trap and accept something that will endanger the other 2/3rds of Cyprus. Loosing the whole Cyprus is the worst case scenario.
