Something must be wrong! İ sent two parcels (Chritmas prezzies) to an address in Larnaca. They arrived on time for the celebrations!

Wow you had a car! I didn't even have that when I landed here way back in 1989. Lot of hard work and a few years under my belt I've managed to survive. Last year (2011) I received a Christmas card here in Switzerland, in APRIL, stamped in December 2010 from a friend in the UK. First I thought it was an early Christmas card for 2011, but then I saw an official message on the back of the envelope which read something like, "Due to the inadequate postage, this letter has arrived to you in a different form of transportation"! :lol:

"Different form of transportation"? What the hell were they talking about, different form of transportation. Someone could have swam the channel and walked all the way from there to Switzerland backwards and still it wouldn't have take 4 months for it to get here. It normally takes 3 days when I post something to the UK from Switzerland. :lol:

That was a classic. I have the envelope somewhere. It was too funny to throw it away. :lol:
