The wife just threw me out the bedroom!

We went to a dinner party at 7:30pm and I drunk like a fish with friends till 10:30pm. When we got home we went straight to bed while I had a nasty cough and every so often I’d cough pretty loud away from the bed while sleeping, and by 1.00am she had enough, turned on the light and blasted me for keeping her awake. I just got up, got dressed and abandoned the bedroom!

Now I’m in my office in the basement sipping my coffee and smoking away wondering what our marriage vows were all about but I’m just too drunk to remember!

Which brings me to my question and the reason for this thread…

Should I go have the Mars bar or will that make me sick?

Yes, there does seem to be an underlying problem here which needs to be addressed... and it's sleeping upstairs, comfortably snoring away, whilst you are suffering in the Dog House. Her who has taken away your liberty and chained you to serve only Her.

You remember how life was like before Her and Her controlling ways? The freedom to do as you please, to drink with friends without the criticism that you get for a quiet drink and night out with the boys nowadays.

Yes, there does seem to be an underlying problem here which needs to be addressed... and it's sleeping upstairs, comfortably snoring away, whilst you are suffering in the Dog House. Her who has taken away your liberty and chained you to serve only Her.

I forgot to mention that about 10 minutes later she came down pretending to be concerned offering me a blanket and if I wanted to sleep in another bedroom!

It was my perfect moment to sulk but I resisted! In my deepest voice I replied… “I’ll be just fine woman!” clicking away at nothing on the screen pretending to be busy! Ha!

And this brings me to my second important question…

Is this a good season to plant cucumbers or should I wait for sunnier days?

May be better to wait for sunnier days for cucumbers. Maybe start off the seeds in a propagator, inside by a window or patio door in late February.
