Well, we should not embarrass our good old friends and partners (in Cyprus) should we? They may be angry and start telling us of our own "genocides" (in India, for instance) and elsewhere. Like they told Sarkozy about Algiers. Right?

Where all the hypocrite Turkish politicians from Erdogan to Gül to Davutoglu to offer sincere apology with compensation to follow in murdering these unarmed peasants on Turkish soil with F-16s, but instead, they have all repeated the terms used as "regret, unfortunate and saddening mistake", but NO apology, as they demanded one from Israel for those killed by the IDF on the Blue Marmara in International waters in their attempt to make a run through the blockade to Gaza. How can these Turkish politicians be taken seriously when what they demanded from Israel for their own people, they are not willing to give to their claimed own people, the Kurds.? And btw, I wouldn't be too surprised, that if the Turks were getting their information on these Kurdish peasants smuggling across the border with Iraq from an American controlled Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), which are operated by the CIA and not by the Turks, gave the Turkish Military the false information that they believed that they had spotted the PKK crossing into Turkey, in order to create problems for Turkey with the Kurds. Might explain why the very heavy response by the TAF to destroy anything on the ground where the suspected "PKK" were.

These same politicians condemned Assad of Syria of murdering his people and making the claim that any leader who murders it's own citizens are not fit to lead that nation and that they are criminals. Hello, anybody home in Ankara? Can you please tell me how is it different Turkey killing many thousand Kurds over the years, not including the PKK, is any different than what Assad is doing, or it the case that the Kurds are not their own people, in which case, the Kurds will push for independence sooner rather than later. I can see the "Kurdish Spring" in Turkey coming to life in 2012, and quite frankly, who can blame them, since they are getting killed anyway without any apology from the Turkish politicians, they might as well get killed for demanding Independence. Lets see how many thousands Kurds Turkey will kill to try and crush their movement vs. the number of Assad is killing in Syria to crush the opposition's movement.

Karma can be a real bitch sometimes!

CY Mail has a story covering protests about the killings of these poor people outside the "turkish embassy" in Occupied Nicosia that took place amongst a huge "police" presence this past Monday...

Here's a para...

Surrounded by demonstrators and hundreds of Turkish Cypriot police barring access to the ‘embassy’, head of the small left-wing New Cyprus Party (YKP) Murat Kanatli accused Turkey of escalating the long-term war against Kurds in it troublesome southeast and said the deaths of the 35 smugglers came as a result of its “war policy” that also currently held 12,000 people in custody. Kanatli, who is currently fighting a conscientious objection case against the Turkish Cypriot military, said his party’s support, and that of a number of Turkish Cypriot trade unions, stemmed from the fact Ankara’s policies in Turkey are also reflected in the north of Cyprus.
