This is the essence of the Cyprus problem, that a minority is looking to have equal power with a majority. In other words, institutionalism of apartheid!

We are your equal partners as a community, the fact that we are less in numbers does not make us any less of a partner.

A reminder that ... "political equality doesn't mean equal numerical participation".....

While political equality does not mean equal numerical participation in all federal government branches and administration, it should be reflected inter alia in various ways: in the requirement that the federal constitution be approved or amended with the concurrence of both communities; in the effective participation of both communities in all organs and decisions of the federal government; in safeguards to ensure that the federal government will not be empowered to adopt any measures against the interests of one community; and in the equality and identical powers and functions of the two federated states.

And I say, thank God Denktash said NO to Annan Plan 2.

P.S. I would not be surprised if he did say that. I believe that he would not be content with anything less than annexation to Turkey of the North, as a first step and later of the rest of the sland.

You are an 18% ethnic minority bullied and forced into isolation, misery, tyranny and poverty by the Bully (Turkey) and it's slaves (TMT).

Let me correct you:

You are an 18% ethnic minority bullied and forced into isolation, misery, tyranny and poverty by the Bully (Greek Cypriots) and it's slaves (eoka)

Are you sure TCs decide for themselves? I doubt it. They live under the tyranny of Turkey, the Anatolians and the TMT thugs. I believe that If they were given the chance of a free referendum their vast majority would vote for the withdrawal of the turkish troops and settlers.

the veto was for non manipulation of the majority over the majority dosent mean you were equal partners it was a check a nd balance not a political tool to use to bring a country to a halt as the t/c did VP.Vetos should be used as last resorts.
