I do personally sense a Cypriot mentality in all Kibrislis who participate here be it VP, Kikapu,Halil, Deniz et al, whereas I don't sense a Cypriot mentality in someone called paul12 who apparently is not a Cypriot.

Turkey's TPAO finds no gas or oil in Black Sea exploration

Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) ended the oil exploration in the Black Sea --north of Turkey. "Deepwater Champion", one of the most modern oil exploration ships of the world and belongs to U.S. Exxon Mobile company, terminated the exploration as it could not find any oil or natural gas in Kastamonu-1 and Surmene-1 wells in the Black Sea. The ship approached Inebolu Port to leave Turkish territorial waters. "Deepwater Champion" will proceed to Romania for new oil explorations. The ship had begun oil exploration 120 miles off Inebolu in April.

Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum has confirmed that a natural gas reserve recently discovered off the coast of Cyprus, does not fall within Egyptian territorial waters or its exclusive economic zone.

Their posts are strongly partitionist with a hint of 'hedging their bets' just in case (since despite their protestations, they KNOW they are in the wrong) the solution is a fair, just and democratic one (their only fear).

Please read carefully what I write. When I say i sense a Cypriot mentality in those people this has to do with all the Cypriot attributes which in short are a bit of naivity, a lot of sentimentality, ,taking wrong decisions, etc etc combined with "philotimo". Therefore you better ask yourself whether partition is part of the Cypriot mentality or not. A partitionist or an Enosis supporter, even KNOWING they are wrong (as you said) could well still be Cypriots !! There are still Kypreoi in here who support the idea of eradicating the Kibrislis from Cyprus.They are Cypriots too!!

This doesn't mean that I support their views or that I will help them in anyway to achieve their goals.
I only support actions/measures that will re-unite Cyprus in a democratic structure with full respect of human rights.
