So what Dubai is an oil rich country but who would up sticks and go live there of their own freewill?

Well I can't give you figures for Dubai alone, but for the UAE nearly 7 million people did up sticks and go live there of their own freewill! Only 16.5% of the population are Emirati, similar to the percentage of real TCs in the occupied areas.

Have you got the figures for why they went there? could it be to do with money.

Many people have been coming to live, work and settle in the Republic of Cyprus prior to the discoveries of gas. Mainly because it's a sunny, pleasant, democratic, civilised EU member. Whereas only looters, criminals and carpetbaggers have made their homes in the "trnc".

Now do you mind telling us how the TCs will benefit from their share of the gas reserves as long as the island is divided?

Since when has any government told the Turkish Military what to do?

Not so vague VP, we have discussed this subject some time ago, I think we called it "shadow government" initially, until someone came with the correct term "provisional government". I can search and find the link for you if you want.

i understand you are among the forces who will object such a provisional government- which imo is your only chance to ever get saved from your "savors".This does not mean you will come to an agreement/ final solution with the Kypreoi. It will just remove your dependency from the Turks and remove their dictating to you of their terms for a solution.
I am not saying it will be a rosy or easy task for the Kibrislis who will start it. But trust me there are Kibrislis ready to risk their lives to start it.
Financing may not come directly from the RoC but trough the EU instead and be monitored by the EU....

I would like to read more about how it would work and the risks involved.
