You dont want a greek contingent orforthat matter anything to do with greece thats fine just let me know how you will get the 40000 turkish troops off the island and not to have interventin rights.

Why dont you tell her to leave?

You either cant, dont want to, will not, or what is more likely; Turkey just does not give a damn about you or anyone south of the green line for that matter.

Turkishness is the RoC's problem, always was and always will be and for as long as you think the way you do and for as long as Turkey maintains her current mentality, Greek Cypriots will continue to be oppressed in their own country. Sad but true.

Maybe I have got my wires crossed and have you confused as someone else, but the point I am trying to make still stands.

Ireland has 6 of their counties occupied. The demographics of these counties have been drastically screwed up by the introduction of settlers that call themselves "loyalist Irish" Natives became a minority in their own country where they have to live with the constant presence of foreign troops... I can not see Northern Ireland as a good example for Cyprus or any other nation in a similar situation...

VP you are so far from being right most Cypriots now would not want Enosis and they never did that's why the coup failed

Even the staunchest of fascists would think about it twice

Mr Ed may be VP and halil are one in the same?

Me Ed wrote:So what's the difference between Halil and VP.

Why is Halil calling for them to go and VP calling for them to stay.

It has something to do with the realisation from Halil that all his children have fled the occupied territory and the fact the VP has nothing to loose but her entire identity?

Halil and his family always lived in north. never became refugee....Halil and his family knows none of the troops staying in Cyprus helps future of the Cyprus....Halil family also aware that it is not the only Turkey causing problems in Cyprus, there is a other actors as well.....Halil family also knows how we came to present situation in Cyprus...Halil family knows how TC's and GC's made big mistakes at past...because of their big mistakes how we are suffering today...so lots of things to say...thats why he is looking such a solution that we can not have 63's or 74's in Cyprus again.....where people will live in Cyprus without fears of Greeks, Turks or Third parties....
In every protest or struggle against his and family Identity always he is and his families are standing very strongly to protect their ID's as a Turkish Cypriots and all of them are very proud to be Turkish Cypriots.....

While we are getting rid of both Turkish and Greek troops from the island which I agree with, are we not forgetting to 80,000 GC battle ready reservists fully armed. You think Turkish Army will leave Cyprus before you disarm them?

Yes, The Turkish army is leaving. we have already decided.

Noone is forgetting the 80,0000 GC battle ready reservists, they have a right to stay in Cyprus, just like yours.
