1)in a ideal sitution yes but cyprus in the last 40 years has been hardly ideal,in the future maybe yes all cypriot force within a a eu/nato structure.but you need time for that.

2)cyprus is a democracy never said or implied otherwise.

You are making excuses, if Cyprus was democratic from day one she would not be in this sitution today.

if Cyprus was democratic today, then the CyProb would be resolved very, very quickly indeed and the whole country would be looking to move forward and makee progress as one.

If you had your way Cyprus would now be Greece.

ONLY ALLAH KNOWS WHAT CYPRUS WOULD BE NOW IF YOU HAD YOUR WAY!

Your beıng really dumb here...we did get our way.

You cant answer as to whether my suggestion above helps all sides.

Turkeys troops are leaving and you dont want to do anything about preventing the way of the jungle becoming your reality. :eyecrazy: :2guns:

Maximus i understand your point however the tc will not accept it now at least.in the future who knows.what i suggest its eases all sides concerns.

Cyprus wil be part of the eu/nato structure unilateral intervention will be eliminated which will ease gc concerns and the tukish army contigent will still be in cyprus in a very limited role under a higher command that will ease tc concerns.the british bases will be transformed to a eu/nato base(akrotiri) at athird of its current size dhekelia will be returnedto both communites to develop.gc and tc will be a mixed contigent in the new structure which i hope will be cbm within the two communties

Turkeys troops are leaving,

There is no democracy in Cyprus, Cyprus is not democratic, Cyprus was never democratic.

You have your own reasons why this is not so, but a solution must prevail so the country can move forwards and make progress as one.

You understand my point but you enforce yours with the force of arms from a foreign power. How does this ease all sides concerns when this is the problem?

Forget about me, here is some Greek propoganda for you to sink your teeth into and digest.

The only problem in our region is Turkey.
