Oh yes you are right. I still remember Talat's emergency flights (say ordered come here "to pull your ears") to Ankara to take some lessons. I still remember the fiasco with the Ledra crossing when it took Talat almost 2 months to learn that the Turkish Army is on top of him. Poor Christofias indeed messed everything up by taking him so long to discover who is REALLY IN CHARGE OF THE OCCUPIED

He was your best bet, you lost that chance.

Good for you then, why are you so upset?

Apologies if im giving you that impression but its you GCs that should be upset because looks like you missed the train.

Hold on there this does not mean that we will not push for improvement of our current standards....as I say once the talks stop we will both pursue our own agendas, meaning you go your way and we go ours.

For your information I am not a fan of the EU but this does not mean that i will not exploit the situation you have forced us into, this is only natural if the EU accept TCs as equal citizens of the EU then they have to treat them accordingly as the division and non resolution is the fault of both sides not just the TCs.

Hahaha. That much you understand how politics work VP.
So you expect the talks to stop to have a clear ground? Well listen to this:They will never stop. The will continue for ever with absolutely no results...

Noway 2012 is the end of the road.

Says who???
Do you really expect the UN to ever say that the CP is unsolvable when they themselves have no alternative and cannot even push for their own resolutions? It's like admitting they are useless...

But just for the sake of discussion, let's assume the talks do stop and all sides confirm deadlock. Haven't you tried the same things during Denktash? What have you ever achieved? Who recognized you, how was your economy benefited? Do you need another 30 years to realize there is NO HOPE?

You forget that we can go on as we are forever but yet another failed attempt will bring with it confirmation that this problem cannot be solved and that the TCs have to be treated as equals so steps which we will also push for will develop recogntion is not a priority but relaxation of the constraints are.

We've been here before with you, VP. It just isn't going to happen. The ROC is a full member of the EU. And we have good relations with France and Germany. There will be no direct flights or lifting of the trade and other embargos. Just as there is no way that Turkey's EU accession can proceed without normalising relations with the RoC. I thought you'd realise that by now. Especially now that we're likely to supply the EU with its energy needs for decades to come.

Do what you have to Hermes it wont change the reality that we are in the north and you are in the south, the fact that you feel you have the upper hand will not make us roll over and die...in fact it makes us even more determined to keep the status quo and you people well away from the north.
