The UN are supposed to deliver JUSTICE through their resolutions. Not take a stance of equal distance between the "two sides"!
When a judge sentences someone to prison he just delivers justice, he acts in fairness for all, he doesn't take a stance of equal distance.

A neutral stance in situations like the CP is actually a crime by itself. And Mr Downer has multiplied that crime by often TAKING SIDES and supporting those who invaded our country and those who ripped off our lands and properties...

He speaks the truth you a GC so you will always deny it...takes a very intelligent, brave and open minded individual to see his own sides wrongs.

So what are you saying that you never asked the UN to apply their own resolutions, well guess why they dont because you GCs are also guilty of dividing the island.

On the contrary. I demand that they apply their own resolutions and not those of Britain and Turkey which are prepared in the offices of some legal firms in New York, and presented to us by their puppets sich as the honorable Mr. Downer.

As for who divided the island, please read the articles of Sener Levent and the confessions of your leaders and former leaders such as Kutchuk and Denktash (under the threads about AFRIKA and the TMT).

Have a nice time educating yourself. And to save yourself from further embarrassments don't bring up again the question of who divided the island.

...i don't crtisise him (Downer) for his impatience frankly; its not hard to understand his frustration when witnessing this acrimony which has been honed to a very sharp edge between these two parties.it is possible that he expects much more leadership from the "Greeks", given their extrordinary success since the Occupation of the Turkish Army. however under these conditions, they are the oppressed minority, and it is they as the Republic of Cyprus who must defend the Universal Rights of all Human Beings, as well as their position as Greeks on an island where they represent a very large majority.

I love my country and people which are the TCs and the TRNC and will defend them forever, we will never be forced into minority status in a GC state.
