I wish him well in his struggle for a united democratic Cyprus. It is good to see men who refuse to acknowledge injustice and who won't accept a legitimisation of the status quo. That would be the greatest betrayal of all.

Simple enough for you Kikapoo?

YES, very simple, in fact too simple. As simple as your initial statement. I did not ask for a simple response, but a fully detailed one to explain to us what does "one man one vote" means to you while incorporating no racists practices, ie, having the EU Principles to apply to the "one man one vote".

Btw, just who exactly are these "Persons with voting rights in this state"?

Now, give us what I've asked of you and don't give us anymore of your simple answers.

It is possible. As we can plainly see?

You got your glasses on?

So Jackson Pollocks to you to.

Listen you scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot...

Have you not bothered to read Pyro's definitive post above on the matter of Mr Aziz?

What more do you want to admit you were wrong and very quick not only to condemn the Republic in this affair, but to condemn the whole body of Human Rights Laws?

Even if Mr Aziz himself blessed us with a visit and posted his version of events on CF, you wouldn't be happy would you???

Are we allowed to swear on this site, cause I got plenty to say too if Admin allows that kind of thing, unless of course the rules applied here are like Cyprus constitution and is applied differently as to which community you are from.

Pyro definitive my arse. The man is a TC, pays his taxes, lives in the EU and is not allowed to vote. Let me know when GRoC has adopted the EU principles and I may just move there on day. But for now I shall remain on the safer side of Cyprus where I am allowed to vote.

Well until you can come up with a more definitive account than the well-researched and excellent one Pyro gives rather than your usual ill-thought out off-the-cuff and lazy reactions...

CY could have been someone
You took her dreams from her
When she first met you

Happy Christmas you arse,
I pray it's our last.

Lordo wrote:The answer is right in front of us. In the constitution we can have laws that prohibit a resident from doing anything legally. So your worries are over, within the EU the GCs can live in the north set up businesses and pay taxes but they don't have to be able to vote. So your worries of being swamped by GCs on TRoC parliament are over. solution is here, thank god.

GRoC has shown us the way.

No Incorrect - the laws did not prohibit Ibrahim Aziz from voting: what they do is artificially prevented him from voting from certain people and obliging him to vote for others on racist lines. Whether that system is fair is what Mr Ibrahim is complaining about. However on the basis of the laws of the ROC the 150,000 or so GC's who should be resident in the North would be entitled to vote for their own representatives.

People who have met the criteria and have citizenship of that state, you may want to complicate matters as a cloud screen but this point is quite clear if anyone of any ethnic origin has gained the right to reside in the given state then they have the right to use their one vote to choose whom ever they wish from the candidates or party standing for election.

Erm VP, whilst we wait for K to reply, a reminder that in this enlightened day and age distinctions based on "race", ethnicity or religion won't wash.

You have to think of a more palatable way to make the distinction. Can think of two.

You need to think of other ways to make the distinction, to come up with the same result, of who lives and therefore votes in the northern zone without referring to race, ethnicity or religion cos these are unattractive distinctions in this day and age.

So come up with something that gets the same result without referring to descriptions such as Turk, Greek, tc, gc, christian and moslem etc.

I think we have crossed wires, I said anyone regardless of those differences as long as they have gained citizenship of that state.
