Where do we go after January 2012?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Where do we go after January 2012?

Postby Viewpoint » Fri Dec 16, 2011 6:02 pm

Each side starts to push for their own agenda. With Turkeys EU hopes well and truly in the bin, the GCs EU leverage also turns to thin air and no more "Cypriot" meetings we will see a gradual frustration in the EU that nothing has been solved and the EU have an even hotter potato not in the hands of the UN but squarely in their own lap right where it hurts. Roll on Taiwanese style TRNC.

( Another confirmation that Turkey/Eroglu are gonna abandon the negotiations in January. )

Do yourself a favour and trade in your crystal ball for a decent one VP, cos the one you've got has a long tradition on CF of being rubbish.

Anyway ... and let's go for a mo with part of what you say VP and the current round of talks get nowhere as a result of the Turkish Intransigence and Lack of Goodwill of the past 3 years and they end in January when Turkey/Eroglu walk away from the table, ...

...just what makes you feel so confident that whatever follows will be beneficial to you and what you called earlier, the unrecognised pile of s_ _t called "rctc"???

Actually giving it a thoughtful thought It might be a scary year, not going to be the end of the world for sure but disasters will happen, I predict a war ! I really do, the middle east will be strict Muslims rather than democrats, National wars would be in more than one country, The west, US and Russia would be in a conflict that will end up in another war !

Does not sound like a good year !

But never the less we would be as individuals far away from most events getting on with our little lives.

It looks like Turkey and its new puppet will save us once again, this time from Christofias and his lot (in 2002 it was Denktash who did it, bless him ). Now, what will happen after they (hopefully) abandon the talks? The TCs will revolt and demand the withdrawal of Turkey from our Island. Their "Last Chance Policy" will backfire straight in their own faces.
And the only "hot potato" I see, is the one Turkey will have in its hands, meaning the inferno against the Tyrannic (or Turanomongolic) Regime of North Cyprus (TRNC).

Oh yes, should not forget to remind every one. As of Jan. 1st 2012,Turkey will have to address any matters related to any defence issues between EU andTurkey to the Ministry of Defence and the National Guard of the R.O.C

It must be eating away at the Turks to know that Cyprus (the half country they refer too), is going to take over EU Presidency in a few days.

Their only chance for survival ... and for a share in the island's gas wealth ... will they take it?

Is that what Erdogan promised you for your New Year's present?

Did you know that Taiwan's Economy per capita is much larger than Turkey's, with real export economy unlike Turkey's, therefore, where does that put the "trnc's" puny economic importance to the world in comparison, for the world to demand that the "trnc" becomes "Taiwanese"?

It must be ALL that Hellim that is produced in the north that the world wants to get their hands onto in order to "Taiwanese" the "trnc"!

Is there a second product that the world can't wait to get their hands onto that is produced in the north for them to justify for the "trnc to become "Taiwanese"?

We are all dying to know the answers, VP.

My crystal ball says:

There will not be any reunification in the foreseeable future.

It may take another 13 years before Cyprus is 'reunified'.

Before the island is 'reunified' all but a negligible and absolute minority of Turkish Cypriots will be gone. For the time being, they are being quarantined like any infection and they are receiving a strong dose of antibiotics. They dont deserve or have rights to their own country and as a community, they dont deserve to b citizens of the Republic either.

Lets look at the Turkish/Cypriot Leaderships track record, lets look at the dwindling population of Turkish Cypriots and lets look for these trends to continue.
