Does Erdogan have Cancer?

Postby Kikapu » Sun Dec 11, 2011 3:11 pm

I don't know, is the answer to my own question, but this article leads me to believe that he does, only because the article is not only very vague, but inconsistent with realities in what it states, specially from the Doctor himself.

First of all, any polyps found during Colonoscopy examination is removed right away and the whole process takes less than 30 minutes. The findings of the polyps malignant/benign status can be establish within few days through tests. A three hour key-hole operation is not for removing polyps, but that's how long it would take to remove a tumour in the Colon (intestines). The fact that the Doctor stated that it took 3 hours of Operation to remove "Polyps" and not Tumour(s) Malignant or Benign, has done so to try and disguise the facts, mostly for political reasons, I'm sure. Just by stating that the removed Polyps are Benign after 3 hours of key-hole operation ONLY leads one to believe a tumour was removed, and not my stating that the tumour was Benign, it stated that the Polyp was Benign. To me, the truth has not been told here. I'm certain there is more to this story than we are lead to believe, and I would not be too surprised if we hear in the next few months that Erdogan needs to go through some form of Cancer treatment. Turks in general are not very forthcoming about illnesses in general, whether it is with them, or with their family members. It is almost a taboo subject for them to talk to others about it. This certainly fits with the below report on Erdogan's medical situation.

As for the Doctor's claim that Erdogan is one of 3-5 top leaders in the world is very amusing to say the least. Looks like he stuck his nose far too far up Erdogan's butt than the Colonoscopy unit itself, to have gotten such a "brown nose". This Doctor needs to get out more often, or even read some newspapers that are not Turkish Papers.

Doctors find no cancer in polyps from Turkish PM

Professor Mehmet Füzün, one of Turkey's most prominent surgeons and rector of 9 Eylül University, who was among doctors who performed laparoscopic surgery on Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan late last month, has said polyps found in Erdoğan's intestinal tract are not malignant.

The doctor spoke to local news portal egedesonsöz.com and shared some details with regards to Erdoğan's much-discussed operation. “I was also present during the surgery as an expert on colon and rectal surgery. The intestinal polyps we removed during the operation were big, but not malignant,” he said.

As for the background of the operation, Füzün said the prime minister had called him after polyps were found in his intestines during a regular check-up and told the doctor about his situation. “I provided him with some information about the surgery. I had told him that I am a well-known surgeon when it comes to open surgery in such cases, but that I also have colleagues that are successful when it comes to keyhole surgeries. I recommended Professor Dursun Buğra. Then, we began preparations for the operation,” Füzün said.

Füzün said the operation took three hours and that it was very stressful. “Of course, you are not performing a surgery on an ordinary person. This is Tayyip Erdoğan. He is among the top three or five leaders of the world,” he said.

The doctor said they preferred keyhole surgery to open surgery in order to ensure that Erdoğan could recover quickly. “If we had had done open surgery, his recovery could have taken up to one month,” he added.

Erdoğan, 57, underwent abdominal surgery on Nov. 26 and has been resting out of the public eye since then. Health Minister Recep Akdağ said on Thursday that there is nothing wrong with Erdoğan's health, but that doctors simply recommended he rest.

The prime minister's office on Wednesday also said Erdoğan is in good health and released photographs of him smiling and meeting with visiting Qatari ruler Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani on the same day. Al-Thani and Erdoğan met at Erdoğan's Üsküdar home in İstanbul for one-and-a-half hours.

Oh dear, I genuinely feel sorry for Erdo. Perhaps this little song will cheer him up.

I'm surprised you started a thread like this Kikapu... you know discussing Erdogan's anal polyps and that! :?

We’ve either run out of material or the change in weather is having a profound effect on us all lately… :?

It actually had nothing to do with Erdogan's Polyps at all, but had more to do with political ramifications in Turkey, which in return can also have political effects in Cyprus, good or bad, if he should have Cancer to a deegree that will require life altering treatments. It may mean new leadership in Turkey before too long.

As for the weather, we do not yet have snow in Switzerland and most of the ski resorts are still closed!

Do we really care? They are all the same aren't they? I mean, isn't the Army finally dictating policies?

No sane man scorns another man who has cancer. Even if he is his biggest enemy. It reminds me of the time of the big earthquake in Turkey when the fools of Cyprus drunk champagne to celebrate the death of so many people. Luckily, Greece at the time did the proper thing, by sending experts and rescuing many people that were about to die in the ruins.

Bananiot I could really give a shit what happens to Erdogan and if he has cancer he needs to review what got him there in the first place. So if you think whatever you think of me for not having not even a bit of compassion for this barbarian with his powerful guns and killing machines that just as well I don't give a hoot what you think of me on this one.

Well said Humanist.

He is the cancer in Cyprus so the quicker we kill it the better.

As for Banana, don't worry about him, he would rather see us all suffer just to please his mates and he thinks we are Cyprus's enemey. Shish.

If death is a continuation of life I hope he drops dead in this life and comes back as descendant of a Greek Cypriot refugee, ;)
