xmas in cyprus

Postby littlenatt » Sat Dec 10, 2011 8:38 pm

I am traveling to Cyprus and arrive in Larnaca on Xmas eve. I will be traveling alone and am wondering if there are xmas events that I could join in rather than sit in my hotel room on my own. I am not necessarily looking for expensive hotel meals, but rather a way to spend some time with others in a friendly atmosphere.

Hey, no responses to my post, does that mean there is nothing happening in Cyprus xmas eve or xmas day, or is everyone just too busy to post a reply.

Erm ... get up to Nicosia mate/matess, Ledras Street (in the centre, near the bus station), there's a street parade promised on Xmas Eve in association with the Occupy the Buffer Zone action.

It's politico and may well be fun.

Only a Cypriot lexicographer can give you a precise definition.
