Here's an approach which have used for ages ...

Make a comment, express an opinion, make a point on an article, even if it's just a sentence.

C & P a paragraph, a few lines from the article to illustrate your point.

Cite the URL of the article out of courtesy to the original source/writer and so that those who wish to read the whole article can find it.

I was merely pointing out Bill Cs impeccable good manners, no doubt the result of good schooling and living the life of an English gentleman. In comparison, your outburst was no doubt well-intentioned if a little uncouth. No doubt the product of spending time amongst kangaroos and wallabies.
