Why is every newspaper article turned into a thread these days by a small group of people?

You think we’re stupid and cannot find/read the articles ourselves?

What is the debate at hand in this thread and where is YOUR input?

The European debt Crisis has hit world wide but in Australia which is doing relatively well right now the effects are positive as foreign investors are buying real estate here and prices have only dipped in some outer regional areas. Interest rates were lowered by the reserve bank as a result of the European debt crisis.Rates are at the lowest since 2004, So one's pain is another's gain.

Well here's my inpout.

Turkey's favourite champion for its EU accession, Cameron, has just thrown a spanner in the works and is moving away from the EU. How will this impact on the Turks and Cyprus. Will Erdo and co have to try even harder now to to gain admission, will they feel obliged to make concessions to the ROC?

Europe is going to be preoccupied with its own problems for some time, if the Turkish economy goes tits up it will need help from outside. Arrogant statements like "But Economy Minister Zafer Çağlayan brushed off the pessimistic review, saying the IMF would have to revise its projections" show how the Turks have lost touch with reality. It is this arrogance that led them to occupy Cyprus in the belief that one day the civilised world would have to accept Turkey's dirty deed because of that country's new found economic might. I think an impoverished Turkey will find it has few friends in Europe - it could be a good thing for an energy rich Cyprus though.

I think you are stupid, yes, this is why I posted the article.

Others have managed to get the general gist of things rather well and on their own accord They have also managed to post their opinions too.

Is this YOUR input as we can debate the appropriateness of it if you like. This is a place where people can share information and discuss topics of common interest.

You did not answer the question but went to the effort to remove it from the quote.
