You went to the effort to delete my question from the quote, as if it did not exist.

Go and buy the ISE 100. You might want to place a very large stop though, as it looks like this has the potential to go a long way down before it makes any new highs. Look at the 5Y chart. I make it a 50% drop back down to the lows of 2008. Then we can reasses the situation.

Let me assess the situation: Turkey is doing a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better job on its own than Greece that screwed even with the help of those European fundings that she has been receiving for years.

We are talking about the european debt crisis which is knocking on Turkeys door. We are not talking about Greece, it is confirmed that Greece is screwed already. why do you want to compare Turkey with Greece? Does it make you feel better?

well some Turks who commented on the article feel they are safe and that Turkey is doing well. The rest of us now can sit back and relax. They seem to forget that the term Global Economic Crisis means just that Global.

What I find particularly interesting is that this past year, the level of trading activity(volume) has been on a gradual decline. Turkish business' have enjoyed receiving less interest and investment. Are they overvalued at these prices? Is this all atributed to the EU debt crisis?

If there is a lack of demand, the price can fall under its own weight. I am confident that this convergence with the decline in price over the same period will see a lot of wealth in Turkey destroyed. The ISE 100 will be trading around 25,000(ish) in a year or two I reckon. (its at 53,835 now)

Why do you post about another country's economy to "Cyprus forum"? Why are you obsessed about this great country?

Its an opportunity to short sell, so we can all potentially get rich off the back of it. Thats why I posted it here and thats where my interest lies with Turkey.

To keep Turkey afloat? I doubt it.
