smoke ban

Postby kavehasaadi » Thu Dec 08, 2011 2:09 am

In 2010 a program started to ban smoking in indoor, but it seems everybody forgot it after few months
now people smoke everywhere and it's kind of annoying
is it legal for restaurants and bars and there's no control over it ?

It is illegal and if the police catches you you will be fined a big fine +2000 euros and if you think everyone forgetting that think again as I my self seen police going inside restaurants and pubs and fining smokers...

May be the police does not want to stop smokers because they make shit-load of money from their fines

OR

smokers really dont care as it is un-fair for them to be grounded out side in the cold/rain/dead hot weather !

they should be a smoking section and non smoking section so everything go fair and square with smokers and non smokers

As a smoker it pisses me off to be in a club drinking and be asked to go out side for a fag it just ruin the moment !! not fair

So, is that a good reason to ban smoking in every pub, club, bar and restaurant across the whole of Europe...?

Wouldn't it be fairer to allow smokers to have their own bars and clubs where they (and their non smoking but non-smoker offended friends) could enjoy themselves in the presence of smoking managers and staff...?

After all, there has never been a law that prevented non-smokers from opening non-smoking pubs, clubs and restaurants...

Smokers shouldn't be allowed to smoke inside their houses or cars either.

Indeed!

In a civilised society like ours, all smokers should be stoned to death...

Don't be surprised if that's the EU's next move.

Well in Wales they want to restrict the maximum price that the manufacturer can sell at...

So, the manufacturer could be forced to sell at below cost while the government hikes taxes to extortionate levels to restrict demand....

Added to the move towards plain packaging the criminal underworld are rubbing their hands in the expectation of huge profit margins on counterfeit product.... :x

It is illegal, but so is speeding and parking on the sidewalks. Chances are the cops will do nothing as they normally do. As for whether it's fair or not who cares, but if I'm in a restaurant I really don't want to be sitting next to a smoker. I don't go to the pub so I don't give a rat's a$$ if you smoke there. If you want to smoke there are faster and easier ways to kill yourself so please take this route and spare the rest of us.
