Actually, all those who voted in 2004 in the AP referendum, including the Illegal Aliens settlers in the north, the overall results were 55.5% vs. 44.5% AGAINST the AP, which can be viewed as a landslide defeat for the AP, and deservedly so.

Wrong: Total Valid Votes 533.291 [Gr428.587+Tr124.963 – (invalid 14.915+5.344)]

NO 355.677 66.70%
Yes 177.622 33,30%

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypriot_An ... 04#Results

Total GC NO vote = 76%
Total TC NO vote = 35%

Total NO vote = 111% divide by 2 = 55.5%

Total GC YES vote = 24%
Total TC YES vote = 65%

Total YES vote = 89% divide by 2 = 44.5%

55.5% vs. 44.5% voted against the AP, by ALL combined percentage votes by both sides.

OK. Can you give me the true figures? How many TCs and how many Anatolians voted?
I am certain your "democratic" administration has them and they will not hesitate to give them to you. All you will have to do is ask them. Right?
P.S. Personally I believe that the TC voters were much less than the generous figure of 65.000 I suggested in my post. Prove me wrong.

The results are all over the net GCs voted NO and the TCs YES to the AP, if you have a problem with these results fo tell the UN and EU as they also use these results. Your guesstimating is a waste of time as it wont change a thing.

Figurers? Numbers? How many real TCs voted NO to Annan Plan 5 and how many Anatolians participated to the voting??
Why did TCs reject Annan Plan 2? I will even take your "guesstimating" on it (if you dare come up with it)

So, are the TCs parasites that feed off both GCs and Turks?

Too right VP wants to be 'free' without obligations to anyone so that he can enjoy what the GCs built up and then what the Turks gave to him!

Pity, VP's talking out of his rear as he's never lived with GCs .....

Only by the way you reference him/her.

Now if you had said 'it' then it may have been a better description as parasites are not gender referenced.

If you calculate percentages reached in each one of the two areas you are right. But If you count actual valid votes IN BOTH areas (533.291) You have 355.677 (66,70% NOs) and 177.622 (33,30%) Yes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypriot_An ... 04#Results[/quote]

On the other hand, I estimated that the majority of TRUE TCs alone voted against, taking for granted that the valid votes of TRUE Turkish Cypriots could not be more than 65.000 (out of a total of about 80-85000 TRUE TCs living in North Cyprus.
I also took for granted that the majority of the NO votes in the TC areas (41.973) must have come from the TRUE TCs while the YESs mostly from the settlers and some TC, puppets of Turkey. Under these assumptions and counting valid votes only and not percentages, I conclude that even the TRUE TC voters, (65.000) in their majority are those who gave most of the 41.973 NO votes of the North.

All guess work and assumptions so irrelevant.
