Iran will target NATO's missile defense installations in Turkey if the U.S. or Israel attacks the Islamic Republic, a senior commander of Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guard said Saturday.
Iran is going to attack a NATO instillation not Turkey as such, so do you think NATO will let that go?
Are the installations not on "Turkish sovereign" territory, then? Isn't an attack on any
*voluntarily or approvingly installed sites, within Turkey, an attack on Turkey and its policies?
[
* voluntarily - because an attack on SBAs is NOT an attack on the RoC in the same vein as NATO bases.]
Yes, but GR thinks that NATO will let Turkey go it alone, what do you think?
GR doesn't know what he is talking about and his inane one liners in the Cyprus Problem section are bordering the
absurd.
He and a few others such as Helsingfors should retreat from politics and stick to the General Section where they belong.
It's a crying shame that some here think the Cyprus Problem section is an arena where they can push ill conceived dogmas which have no political grounding and do nothing but convolute all reason and stifle debate to something that is more fitting to a mental asylum (no disrespect intended to the ill). It's a crying shame that such individuals lack any decency and disrespect Cyprus by lowering the politics down to the gutter, something which is very damaging and degrading to our just cause.
The US and Israel would probably think all their Christmases have come at once if Iran attacked Turkey. Iran's "threats" to attack Turkey is nothing but hot air, as were Turkey's threats against Israel and Cyprus over the past few months over gas drilling.
You don't need to be an Einstein to work it out, but some here take their stupidity to new dimensions.
