I did: cyprus36316-100.html#p697539

You rejected the AP because that would legalise a certain number of settlers...and would lead to the Turkification of the North...Well,did it stop it???

Yes we did. Both the occupation of the north part of Cyprus and the Settlers remain illegal.

The situation is 10 times worse now than in 2004

Nothing changed for us since 2004 in this respect. It would be 10 times worst if we had accepted the Annan plan.

You b etter lock up your sons and daughters...Because your grandchildren will be Turkified slowly as a result of mixed marriages and de facto relationships

How will that happen when all the Settlers are restricted in the north part of Cyprus? Personally I've never been to the occupied areas neither I have any interest in doing so. Almost a decade after the opening of the crossings and personally I don't know of any cases of inter-marriages between GCs and Settlers. If such cases exist they are very few, an insignificant number compared with inter-marriages of Cypriots with members of other nationalities (who, in the case of living in Cyprus, are Greekified)

You are a sad case,Piratis...
I remember reading somewhere that you are on record for saying you don't want to meet up and get friendly with any TCs because you might have to kill them one day,"when the balance of power changes" I suppose...

You are the truly racist one,the one who wants ethnic separation and apartheid...You have such deep hatred for the TCs that your life will fall apart if and when peace comes to our homeland...And of course seeing young GCs mingle with the TCs and settlers would kill you slowly deep inside...You feed this bitterness and hatred by believing the stories you keep spurting out...That it was the TCs who started everything, they conspired with Turkey to partition Cyprus, they supported the invasion simply because it would help bring about what they always wanted, namely partition...Even logic, simply the fact that the idea of Enosis with Greece was around for as far back as the 1800s,and that was the germinal cause for most of our troubles cuts no ice with you...You want to start the problem in the mid 50s when Turkey was drugged into this mess by the British and the Americans, and go on from there to vilify the TCs...The concepts of human rights and democratic principles are sullied when spoken by you...You and your like will be the end of Cyprus as the world knows it... :(

Plus as I said when in Ledra st last week I heard Turkish which was a dialect form Turkey they were together with youth from the south.

Get a grip on yourselves...You rejected the AP because that would legalise a certain number of settlers...and would lead to the Turkification of the North...Well,did it stop it???
The situation is 10 times worse now than in 2004,so all you managed to do was to add fuel to the Turkification fire...Congratulations...If you think the green line is going to be enough to contain Half a million settlers you have another thing coming...You b etter lock up your sons and daughters...Because your grandchildren will be Turkified slowly as a result of mixed marriages and de facto relationships...But I am sure you, lovers and respectors of human rights and equal opportunity, think you would find a way of keeping the younger generations apart...You are in for a BIGGGGG SHOCKKKKK

Great post Bir, I have state this before, just as over the years Tcs children ahve been marrying Turks, this will happen in the south...on a recent visit south walking down Ledra ı noticed youngsters from both sides chatting the accent of the kids from the north were mainland Turkey......the Gcs girls looked very interested to know more and have fun...so as you say if the people in the south think they can stop this natural process ı think they have as you say a very very very big shock in store. Maybe Piratis and Hermes will have a new generation TC marry their son or daughter.....mind blowing dont you think???? human rights for all.

How many GCs married TC's before 1960 in Cyprus?

If you believe otherwise, then you should be happy that the AP failed.

Not only that, you shouldn't support any kind of a settlement, specially a BBF, because in time, you will win with your above scenario, so why aren't you happy by keeping quite about it?

Don't tell me you are trying to protect the GCs long term interest by warning them, are you?

Hey Kikapoo were we on chatting terms?? anyway without a solution what does it matter, in the past there were no new generation TCs so there were not many intermarriages plus it was discouraged, over time they will mingle with the youth of the south and GCs families will have to accept mixed marriages between GC and new generation TCs their worst enemy. Im stating facts if the GCs want to stop interaction thats their business.

For someone who only few days ago was still promoting that you did not want Greek to be spoken around your children, now want us to believe that you want intermarriages with the GCs. So tell me VP, is your daughter and son are now boinking with the GCs, or is it ONLY the settlers who will take on this task to convert the GCs to Turks in the next 300 years for Cyprus to become Turkish.

Don't tell me, this will be Turkey's new "weapon of fucking destruction" in how to make Cyprus Turkish.

You do have a short (and long) term memory loss, don't you?

So tell me, are your children boinking with the GCs already, and if not, why not?

AlanwithoneL wrote:That was back in 1960. How many mixed marriages or mixed race kids did you see back then? Look around you now and see the number of mixed marriages and mixed race kids now. Kikapu, all you do is say exactly what the Greeks want to hear. I cant believe you can take this attitude just so that you can have immunity from Greek insults. STAND UP AND BE COUNTED MAN.

Al,

Since you are choosing to be VP's "cheerleading lapdog" by supporting her foolish statements, they can only get you into trouble with me, therefore, be warned and do so with your own peril.

So, how many mix marriages do you know between the GCs and the TCs since 1960, let it be in Cyprus or abroad. You live in the UK, the largest Cypriot population outside Cyprus. How often do these mix marriages take place, despite the GCs and TCs working together as well as doing business together. I'm sure there is some boinking that goes on between them, but how about marriages.?
