Turkey has been superseded?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Turkey has been superseded?

Postby aikhme » Fri Nov 25, 2011 1:16 pm

An interesting article if nothing else.

An analyst claims that Turkey is not relevant for peace and security in the East Mediterranean.

Ayalon was asked what Israel's reaction would be to a threat posed by Turkey regarding oil drilling in Cyprus. Ayalon unequivocally stated: "If anyone tries to challenge these drillings, we will meet these challenges." Last month Turkey said it would send naval forces to protect its drilling rights.

Why has Turkey gone quiet?

"What these meetings in Greece mean to me is that people are now acknowledging energy issues in this region of the world with the gravitas that they deserve," said Mr. Langfan, who recently released is "Western Theater" graphic, http://www.marklangfan.com/westerntheater2.html which provides concrete evidence that Israel is Greece and Cyprus’ one, and only line of defense against an "Islamic tsunami" that has the capability of waging war of Cyprus and Greece.

Speaking in his capacity as an Israeli security analyst, Mr. Langfan said, "without Israel’s order of battle and very existence, it would be impossible for NATO to defend Greece, let alone Cyprus, from a Turkish/Muslim Brotherhood tidal wave which would lay waste to everything in the eastern Mediterranean. Whether NATO likes it or not, Israel is a now the heart and soul of NATO’s southeastern flank.

How very disrespectful that must be to Erdogan.

And the Turkish threat:
Langfan also noted that Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan issued a direct threat on NATO when he warned on September 27, 2011, "I recommend the international community take the necessary lessons from the Battle of Preveza.”

I recommend Turkey take the necessary lessons from the Battle of Navarinon.

I really can understand turkey's frustration at becoming the laughing stock of the world, and I can only imagine how this must feel to the Machiavellian Erdogan.

And now, the blockade on Gaza is legitimate.

Have a look at this his website. Some very interesting concepts within.

We are dealing here with neo-Ottoman delusions on an epic scale. Note Gul went on to say: "Turkey's national interests in the seas reach from its surrounding waters to the Suez Canal and the Indian Ocean."

Now I'm sure Israel took note of Turkey's self-declared national interests in the Suez Canal. And can anyone enlighten me as to what exactly are Turkey's national interests in the Indian Ocean?

These bloody clowns are so deluded it's almost tragic.
