The Mongols are a proud people of East Asia. I cannot understand the reason why their race is used as an insult. Is it because of the genetic disease that was called "mongolism" years ago and refers to mentally retarded people? If so, how come they ruled us for so many centuries and now occupy a third of Cyprus? Could it be because we are not Greek, as some want us to believe we are and in effect we are more Mongolic than mongols?

P.S. On a more serious note, calling Turks "Mongols" is a practice of the members of the fascist ELAM party and all the sick nationalists in the GC society. Remember, they brought Turkey to Cyprus and if they had an ounce of dignity they would commit suicide.

No insult intended against the Mongols. On the contrary, I have a deep admiration for them. It is the modern Turks who deny (hide) their decent and origin and try to persuade everyone that they are European that insult their Mongol, ancestors. I am just reminding them of who and what they really are.
