To your dismay, no trouble for us, you maybe, not us.

The EU chair is waiting to be filled by the ass of the RoC, NOT the trashcan pseudo state. So, no VP no problem for us. Although I gess it is causing you stomach ulcers :D

personally the talks should break off due to Turkeys behaviour and to give us a chance to get sorted with the gas find, then we can think about it again later when turkey has learnt some manners in the international community. As for EU membership, well pigs might fly too! :D :D :D

You probably have forgotten I am not a great supporter of the EU, which is gradually approaching the verge of collapse...Greece, Spain, Italy, Ireland and who knows how many more on the brink of economical collapse...and you think that Germany and France will support them, you got another think coming...its everyone for themselves, you can take the rickety old rocking chair on the verge of collapse, its your arse you can give it out as much as you want not my business thank god.

If you think that way and have the support of the other GCs why not grow some balls and walk away from the talks and deal with the big find of the century?
the answer to all your dreams.

Where is you EU support in response to Turkeys actions??? they dont give a shit about a bunch of spoilt individuals who have not been able to solve their own problems for the past 50 years.

Actually it's not only the EU. The International Economic crisis has affected ALL developed nations. It actually started from the USA...

Yes freddy mac and fannie mae.

I dont see the EU collapsing, It will reform and move forwards to become even stronger than what it wa,s.

if the EU does collapse however, everyone is to blame and not just the PIGS that were eating what was given to them.

The EU should stop wasting our money for a start, like the shed loads given to Turkey in convergence funds she has completed 1 chapter in 10 years! The time, effort and value for money the EU is getting in return is a joke.

Judging from what currently happens in Greece, Italy, and also in Cyprus, I would say that these EU states just started working as they should.

You are correct but the EU was always made out by its members to be some sort of Bastille which would not crumble but with its aging population and economic crisis which is in its infancy, it is far from what the what you wish it to be, but seeing reality was never a GC trait.

I thought Turkey was supposed to "protect" the T/Cs not to undermine them. It's a confusing place the "TRNC"...

Turkey has made it clear that if the talks fail it will change policy and turn towards upgrading the TRNC and its economy with development work and will give TRNC citizenship to Turks in order to control local politics better. According to Turkish Cypriot sources, even Eroglu is concerned about the population increase in the north because the Turkish Cypriots will be undermined. That’s why agreement was reached on the citizenship issue in New York whereby those who had already received TRNC citizenship would be covered by international law in a future settlement.

No wonder it is called "TURKISH republic of Northern Cyprus" and not "Turkish Cypriot Republic etc"

Turkey now decides even who will get the "citizenship" of this "state".
Congratulations TCs. You have given your country away to the Mongols completely. You will soon be a minority even in the North. Well, that is up to you. As far as we are concerned, it is about time the Neo Ottoman Mongols to realise that blackmail to GCs is not effective. I remind them of the threats of war and annexation of the North to Turkey when CY applied for EU membership, the threats to vote yes to the Annan Plan, the threats in respect to the EEZ and the drilling etc. Keep them up Mongols. You only prove who you really are and what you are really trying to achieve.
