Dear supporters for the unification of Cyprus, as many of you may have realised, the Occupy movement has been drained from creative, intellectual, political, substantive, pragmatic, productive, argumentative, energetic, thought. But what happens when something drains? What remains? Leftovers? Scum? Wonderful people have passed through this movement, active, open-minded, who believed beyond a communist ideology, an anarchist one, a capitalist one, a post-modern one, a poonarchist one. While we all fall into the trap of personalising and making hasty moves, we inadvertently forget what brought us here, and neglect to tell each other why we want to move on. Where is the honesty? Where has it gone? Down? With the drain? The scum? I refuse, I reject, I resist. I will come this Friday, at this special GA, and I want to see others who have left. I want to see others who felt uncomfortable being there. I want to see others who felt disappointed. I will speak honestly, why and how, I am not there. I will speak, honestly, of how I felt, what I feel, what I want to feel. I want to hear that there are others who can speak like this, honestly, to one another. I want to know that there are others, who will listen to me honestly. I want to see others, who have not been there in a long time, and tell me honestly, why. This is a call for a GA for supporters for the unification of Cyprus, who have taken distance from the movement and want to speak their minds. It's Spring, we've had our shares of snows and the penetrating winds of the putrid cold. This Friday 9 March @ 6.30pm, let's shed our winter skins at this special GA, and let go of our weights.
