This must be slap in the face for Erdogan and Eroglu... KNowing that the people they are meant to be representing are actually against their partition and racist principles

I admire the compatriots from the occupied area who have taken the time to participate. Given they have an idiot representing them or at least some fascist TC's who want nothng but partition based on racist ideology.

Further to this I would like to encourage the young and old Cypriots in the occupied area to take out a petition against the Turkish army and its occupation of Cyprus and present it to President Christofias to represent them in the EU and to remind Europe that Cypriots are held in isolation occupation and subordination of the occupation regime and Eroglu.

Why on earth would we do that. to let you trample all over us???

...vp, Cypriots that are Greek and Turkish are often dismissed by "Greeks" and "Turks", but they are still standing together, even after having been torn apart.

who are the "we" you are talking about?

Latest from the Occupation of the Buffer Zone...

Is a video, it's a little lengthy but summarises the Occupation since its start some 6/7 weeks ago. Deffo well worth a look.

The first half includes the move in to the Buffer Zone and some scenes of very disturbing and aggressive interference from the UN peacekeepers, who don't behave terribly peacefully and who at one stage threaten arrests and remove property belonging to the Occupiers. Really at times seems to be a very heavy UN presence.

The second half shows the new Liberated Building that was added to the Occupation on New Year's Eve and some never before seen footage of the insides of buildings in the Nic Dead Zone... with the untouched belongings of decades ago. The Occupiers must have gone walk-about well along the Dead Zone to bring us this really rare archival material.

Breaking news of attempts to break the Occupation from 2 hours ago...

The Occupiers write...

NOW IN THE BUFFER ZONE: Police with a representative of the church are now in the buffer zone asking people to get out of the two rooms next to the camp and are threatening with arrests.
