RIK tv covered the Occupation of the Buffer Zone in the first part of its Eimaste Etho programme earlier today.

Part in Greek and partly in English...

bill .... thank you for posting that. I really enjoyed what the young people had to say. I so want to be there ;)

I think that the TC youth have a big role to play in this action, because they have clearly stated that they want one united Cyprus one identity. However, where the problem lies is that the settler vote in the occupied area outnumbers the TC vote, and this is something that Eroglu is not accounting for in his decisions because the number of settlers and theur offsprings will only increase, hence putting the TC voice further into the Cypriot society.

The Occupation of the Buffer Zone continues in to its 4th week.

For those in CY, here's a date for your diaries... New Year's Eve Party in the Buffer Zone.

Now United Free Cyprus would be an interesting place to see in the New Year... :D

Yeah, thats right, turkey your motherland failed to get recognition, now you have to use and abuse the young to do your dirty work.

Nice one. Typical turks I'd say.

Ela re B52

The young people especially the TC youth is probably fed up with the decades old hatred and division. On their side they hold the power to reunification because they are sick and tired to be a labeled as Cypriots who violate the human rights of other Cypriots and further to this they are sick and tired of being in an open gaol, That the only door out is Turkey.

Even if the gas is their motive the rest of will also benefit. Because what we should be fighting is for an absolute equality of rights to those of any TC.
