Even if Turkey had ever declared such a condition for a departure (has it?), with Cyprus' original geopolotical being potentially valuable, do you believe it would ever have actually left, quietly, voluntarily? Let alone now that we are in the EU and have petroleum interests. It's not Greece's influence Turkey is worried about. It's the whole West's interest in Cyprus that makes Turkey want to be a part of us. So give up attacking the wrong country, you dated troglodyte, and wake up to the one and only enemy of peace in Cyprus - Turkey.

I think you've hit on a novel solution to the Cyprob. We could all pretend we're Swiss then maybe Turkey would get confused and leave the island. This “Hellenic fold” is only in your mind Oracle. From the time when you were little it was repeatedly implanted in your head to the point where you now have a compulsive disorder of it!

Try to understand that you’ve been conditioned into the mythological existence of a “Hellenic world” when in reality it’s just a handful of low achievers situated in modern Greece. There is no “world” or anything like that, and the few “Greeks” you have are now in grave danger of rebellion and extinction from their own state!

Yes, GR. I can see that Greek Cypriots have as much in common with Switzerland as they do Greece. In fact, when I last visited Switzerland I could have sworn I was in Greece! The Swiss all speak Greek, they have close historical and cultural links to Greece and are all practising Greek Orthodox. Even the place names were Greek! I never knew that Switzerland was part of the Hellenic diaspora! I'm glad you noticed too...
