Bart Simpson tried it once, but in the end he decided to return back to his parents. Therefore, don't do it!

In all fairness to both myself and the young man, I did not say that he IS an underdog, I merely pointed out that in today's society, faced with the difficulties that he will have to surmount, he 'Qualifies' for such a status.

When WE were of his age, opportunities were legion and OUR futures were hardly as bleak and foreboding as are the futures of today's youth.

In any case, I was attempting to introduce a little levity into a subject which appears to be in danger of developing into a slanging match, WE (of the older generation) should be offering some advice which may be of use to the one who has requested it, offhand dismissal of his dilemma will do little to help him resolve whatever problems he may feel he has. (imho) of course.
