How can i be emancipated in Cyprus? I am a kid of both Cypriot parents.

I can support myself financially.

What is the procedure to become emancipated?

just move out - find a flat - find out what life is really like out on your own in the real world, where you have to do all of the domestic tasks.

Yup as Sotos said GROW UP!

There is nothing more valuable in life than family. People who help you even at the hardest times of your life. I guess your a spoiled little shit who doesn't appreciate anything from his parents, or maybe when they tell you to clean your room you tell em no its the maids job.

'margirou' I see that your blood is up despite my earlier advice to you that you should calmly respond to opinion which you may not agree with .

By stating that you do not care about your family, you will attract less sympathy (and sound advice) from those who KNOW that you should.

By revealing that you are 'Selfish' you demonstrate that you are aware of your faults (which is a GOOD thing since selfishness is NOT an asset to you) and if you are to develop into an acceptable companion among your peers, such an attribute should be dropped along with any other negative attributes, lest you become an outsider in polite society.

Emancipation does NOT mean that you are at liberty to 'Do everything that you want' (as you put it), rather, it is a declaration of 'Self' which is presented to all associates that YOU are the person you ARE.

My advice to you therefore is, consider your family FIRST, avoid verbal conflicts if they encourage you to descend into the realms of abusive language (or expressions) for they are ALL negatives and will avail you nothing (except an unwelcome reputation).

You are a young man, you will surely see the days when you will sorely miss the love and affection of your Mother and Father (from one who KNOWS).

Stay calm and positive, you have a long (and hopefully happy and successful) life ahead of you, use the time accordingly and Good Luck to you.

As a 16 year old in today's society and faced with the difficulties such youths face, would you not agree that 'margirou' qualifies for 'Underdog' status ?.

Given that one MUST (under the above mentioned circumstances) accept such a proposal, where does that leave YOUR vocation in supporting such ?.

from the general "F*ck you" attitude that comes across in this and another post he started, he doesn't seem to me to feel himself as an underdog.
