The latest news is a story that one of the main actors in what is rapidly turning into a farce, George Papanderou, willresign or may by now may already have resigned as prime minister.

Data within these tables illustrate the extent to which those that have access to money are ripping off those that don't. http://www.ecb.int/stats/money/long/html/index.en.html

And many of those nations that are imposing ridiculous interest rates on Greece to service its debt have themselves a much greater debt - hence their eagerness to make a killing out of the smaller nations who are in a vulnerable financial position. As far as external debt goes (government debt plus private debt), the Germans owe more per capita ($57,775) than the Greeks ($46,636), as do the Brits ($144,338).

Germans have no qualms with Cypriots… it’s just the Greeks they hate! :lol:
