...interesting, Greeks are living in a bi-communal relationship with the other members in their larger identity, not as Nations, but a State. Sarkosy like a rat denies that Europe is a better place with Greece for reasons which I find hard to understand. In any case, a call to a Referendum is a wake-up call; in this case, without one much has been done already as Europeans toward their monetary abilities (whether it is(was) Greece or another member).

...here it is: Universal Values and Personal Gain conflicting, due to an Ignorance which allowed the plunder.

...do Greeks accept this shame and change, does "Europe" accept their own inadequacies and change?

(Anyway, in an effort to get back on topic from the rude Ottoman interuption above  )

Yes ok democracy and allowing the people to choose is a good idea, but would it be such a good idea under the current circumstances? The risk is that the people might reject the EU bailout package, and then Greece defaults, and is kicked out of the Eurozone. I would presume that the debt will remain in Euro, but Greece would have to revert back to the Drachma which could devalue to Turkish Lira levels. Greece will collapse completely.
