You seem to think that the dialects existed in discrete packages; but if you care to interpret the timeline correctly, you would understand that the Greek language prototypes coexisted and evolved alongside (meaning: the peoples were interrelated) one of the earliest recorded - that in Crete. The process would not have led to the language we have today (modern Greek) if the peoples were not of one and the same culture/identity throughout that time. The language would have been transmitted orally (peasants that we are) from far earlier than the written records would suggest.

So you spend a good deal of your time on this forum trying to convince everyone that you’re Cypriot this and Cypriot that, but when it comes to the ultimate test of Cypriot loyalty you fail miserably because deep down inside you’re just another little traitor in disguise!

And I’m talking about dodgy characters like BillC who have more time for gays and lesbians than posting anything good about the motherland!

Cypriot imposters like Yialoser, who has more time for failed Greek expansionist policies and junta aspirations than time spent in schooling.

British agents like Bananiot, who has shamelessly dedicated the last 5 odd years supporting foreign interests on Cyprus.

B25, the Greek gymnasium graduate who is unable to research and think for himself and took all the Greek propaganda in like a dustbin and turned it into his holy Bible!

Or all those goofballs who support and propagate foreign-serving undemocratic political arrangements with Turks!

Yes, the forum is littered with traitors lurking around like cockroaches in a sewer, for without 100% CYPRIOT LOYALTY you’re NOTHING but treasonous little weasels and as can be seen it doesn’t take much to expose you with a simple thread like this.

I see we still have some insurgents on this forum who are confused as to the origin of modern civilization in Europe!

Let me inform you that Cyprus and Cypriotness itself, are the crux of modern civilization from where everything came!

The very nucleus of modern man begins in Cyprus where our great forefathers invented language, trade & commerce, sea fairing, and the expansion of Christianity to the cave people of Europe.

Cyprus is the ORIGIN of modern mankind, where gnosis spread, indeed the alpha and the omega of the modern world. Cyprus was the wellspring from where everything flowed!

Greece? What is this “Greece”? No such thing exists!

Turkey? What the fuck is this “Turkey”? No such thing exists!

'We were sending men to the moon, while you Cypriots were still riding donkey's.'
'We were innovating technology, computers, defense systems, architecture, engineering, medicine.. while you Cyps were still using holes in the ground for toilets'

I may disagree with you on many things but IMHO there is an immense amount of Truth at least in the general thrust of this post, if not about individuals.

The only reason I voted no is because I do not belive anywhere is inherently better than anywhere esle nor that any any ethnos is inately superior to any other ethnos.
