Well said Pyro, if you don't mind a blooming foreigner commending your excellently perceptive one-liner... Greek Cyprus! ...Yuk! ... :P

Yes absolutely! Well said.

If there is a Greek Cyprus then there is a Turkish Cyprus and that will be playing right into Turkey's hands.

Who wants to be associated with either of these 3rd world countries anyway? :?

What absolute nonsense!

You're suggesting Cyprus does not exist except in relation to Turkey.

- Another 'bicommunal' 'bizonal' brainwashed product of the Brits, methinks!

More evidence that every move we attempt to make, is met with aggressive opposition from Turkey ...

and f*ck you too, Epsilon......personally I do not consdier Cyprus a Greek Island - it is Cypriot - as I said before Uniquely so - not Greek not Turkish but with its own proud separate and distinct History from that of Modern day Greece - yes you were once both a part of the Ottoman Empire - you were occasioanly a part of the Roman Empire - which includes its Succesor the Eastern Roman Empire - yes for a few years ypou were part of the Ptolomaic empire but Greece was not - for a few short years you were a part of the Alexndrian empire - before that Cyprus was under persian influences - and so on but that is all in the past - get over it! Move on.

Be Free and thank F*ck that today weare not a part of Greece, as I maintain my view that irrespective of the disaster facing Greece today - which is a real tragedy for the Greek people - Enosis would habe been a disaster for Cyprus.

On the language point which has ben raised I speak the same birth language (and indeed share common ancestors ) with many people eg Americans, Australians, new Zealanders, etc, but I do not consider myself as one of those ethnos nor do I do I say they are part of my ethnos - with Cyprus
